Arcade brewing is a brewery based off of arcade games and video games from the 80s and 90s. This is a full branding project, that includes logo design, label design, 2D animation, and brand cohesiveness.

Brewing
The concept for arcade brewing started from my love of video games and movies from the 80s and 90s. The color pallet of neon blue and pink comes from an 80s cult classic, Miami Vice.
The original theme for this project was going to be movies, but I felt that was overdone, so it was shifted to retro gaming, but stuck with the 80s color theme.
The next step in the process after establishing a logo and loose brand identity, was to refine that identity more by diving into the details of the overall brand, and what I wanted that to look like. In this case, my next step was label design, and figuring out how I wanted each bottle to look.
I needed to find a way to have each label be unique, while still sharing an overarching brand cohesiveness. I ended up landing on an "8-bit" design style that was very widely used in video games in the 80s and 90s.
After establishing my look and feel, it was time to start on my label design. Each label is loosely themed off of iconic video games, arcade games, and movies from the 80s and 90s.
To accompany each label design, a "digital poster" has been created as well, using 2D animation.
